Fun fact about a sunflower: 🌻

Sunflowers actually follow the sun throughout the day—a lovely little habit called heliotropism. They rise with the sun, track it as it moves, and settle with it at night. I found that so beautiful—how they always turn toward the light, no matter where they’re growing.

That simple idea was the spark behind these earrings. One day, I saw a sunflower blooming confidently by the roadside, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how something so bright could thrive in such an ordinary place. I wanted to capture that same bold, joyful energy in a wearable form.

Each petal was shaped by hand from polymer clay, and the top? That’s real wood—not just for texture, but to keep the piece feeling grounded and natural. Earthy on top, sunshine below. Just like the flower itself.
